The IT Project Show is an annual event organized by Temasek Information Technology School to showcase projects developed by the School's final year students.
Through the Project Show, the School seeks opportunities to establish joint collaboration with the industry on product commercialization and development. The participating students also take the opportunity to demonstrate their competencies by presenting their projects to and answering questions from invited guests and members of the general public.
The invited guests attending the IT Project Show are from the industry, as well as commercial, government and educational institutions. Companies who collaborated with the school on the projects, and partner companies who participate in our student internship program are also invited.
There are two parts to the event. The first part is the ceremony where the Guest of Honour, Mr Kevin R. Walsh, Senior Vice President for R&D at Oracle Corporation, will make a keynote address on the topic "Upcoming Trends in Digital Technologies". This will be followed by project presentations by the best project groups from each diploma. The second part of the event is a tour of the specialist laboratories during which the guests will get a chance to have an up-close experience of the various projects on display.
The theme for this year's show is "Innovating for Digital Lifestyles". Twenty five projects from the Diploma in Information Technology, the Diploma in Mobile and Wireless Technology, the Diploma in Information Management, and the Diploma in Internet Computing will be on show during the IT Project Show.
