This attachment is part of efforts by the Media Development Authority (MDA) to build Singapore’s game development capability and foster local talents to help Singapore develop its game industry. The Media Development Authority and Massachusetts Institute of Technology had announced an agreement in October 2006 to establish the Singapore-MIT International Game Lab (SMIGL). The pioneering collaboration aims to further digital game research globally, develop world-class academic programmes in game technology, and establish Singapore as a vital link in the international game industry.
This attachment will help Singapore and TP build up our game development and IDM capabilities. Two other TP students will also be participating in the attachment program - they are from the Design and Engineering Schools.
