Diploma in Information Technology students, Loke Lup Peng and Jonah Victor Dela Cruz, have done Singapore and TP proud at the Worldwide Competition on Microsoft Office held between 19-21 July. The competition was organised by Certiport and held at Disney's Contemporary ResortsinWalt Disney World, Orlando, Florida, USA.
Lup Peng emerged the World Champion in the Microsoft Word category, while Jonah is 1st Runner Up in the Microsoft Excel category. The students have done exceedingly well, competing with the best candidates from around the world.
In May 2007, Lup Peng and Jonah had done TP proud when they emerged as national champions in the Microsoft Word and Excel categories respectively. It is the first time that a tertiary institution has won top spot in both categories.
