Nyang Bing Ru, Leng Ker Ching Genevieve and Jessica Yap Mey Syn from the Diploma in Financial Business Informatics clinched the top prize for the Junior Achievement Titan Competition held on Thursday, 19 November 2009.
In the competition, which was part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009, the students had to run a virtual company and compete in a computer-simulated business environment. They displayed a keen understanding of critical business practices and the effect that management decisions have on a company’s success.
This competition was organised by Junior Achievement Singapore, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing education programmes in economics and business for young people.
