The project was developed by Lim Pei Shan, Quek Han Haw, Ariel Poh Choo Ching and Shawn Lee Keen Mun, from the Diploma in Information Technology.

In recent years, Singapore and many other countries have experienced rapid growth in the e-commerce industry. The rise of e-commerce has given opportunities to individuals to start their own online business. The team saw great potential in the e-commerce industry and would like to encourage more individuals to be entrepreneurs and to tap into the expanding e-commerce industry.

The team developed CartMomo, a creative e-commerce platform, to assist new startup businesses and individuals in setting up their e-commerce websites in an easy, quick and cost-effective way.
