The project was developed by Devin Lim, Lim Zi Gao and Ng Yu Wen from the Diploma in Information Technology.

Singapore will be hosting the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2010. The team wanted to celebrate the YOG in a creative and fun way. They developed the YOG Animation Maker, a mobile application that allows users to create personalised animation in a fun and interactive environment. Users get to choose their desired animated characters representing a variety of YOG themes, and customise them by modifying their expressions, sizes and attire. They can even add text of different colours, fonts and sizes. Users can showcase their creativity by sending the animation to their friends through the Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) service.
