Vicinity is a first person action puzzle game created on the Unity3D game engine for the PC platform. The game is targeted towards an audience of 14 to 16 years of age. This game can also be used to educate students about physics and vector math, as the game uses both of them extensively.
There are multiple environments in the game, ranging from an abandoned sewer to a clean lab, which the player can explore. There are 10 levels in the game. A large portion of the game involves the player solving puzzles using different innovative features. The player is capable of attracting and repelling objects as well as teleporting by retracing distance travelled previously recorded in time.
Key Benefits:
- Educational: As an interesting puzzle game, players will have to use logical thinking to complete the levels; certain puzzles in the game make use of real-world physics or vector displacement.
- Engaging: With multiple puzzles on a single level, the player will always be finding ways to complete the game.
